Behind Distraction Is Stealing, Killing and Destruction
The true signature of the enemy has never changed. From the very beginning, he came to do one thing only: to steal, to kill, and to destroy. That is his identity. Wherever he is present—whether in a person, in a place, or across the entire world—he brings destruction. He takes what is good and replaces it with evil, twisting the beautiful into abomination. That is who he is. There is nothing good in him, not even for the people who serve him openly. He hates them too. Why? Because there is no love, no truth, not even a tiny drop of goodness in him. He only uses people to fulfill his dark agenda, and when he’s done, he throws them away like garbage. Today, let’s look at how this agenda of stealing, killing, and destruction is being played out—right before our eyes—especially through economic and health crises, both nationally and globally.
The Strategy: Confusion and Unrest
The enemy’s number one strategy is distraction through confusion and unrest. When things are chaotic, people cannot think clearly. They panic. They fear. And in fear, people become easy targets for destruction. Think back to the COVID-19 pandemic. A simple sneeze could scare someone half to death. Why? Fear. Not the virus itself, but the fear surrounding it. The likelihood that some died because of fear and anxiety is very high.
And while the masses were locked in their homes, worried about survival, others were busy enriching themselves. Government officials and corrupt individuals made millions—yes, “COVID millionaires”—while hospitals struggled with supplies. The noise of confusion became a smokescreen for theft. Health funds were stolen. Relief money disappeared. And when the dust settled, the same people came out crying, “The government is broke,” seeking loans from international lenders. That’s how the enemy works—steal, kill, and destroy—all behind the curtain of distraction.
Now, look at the unrest in the Middle East. More chaos. More confusion. More bloodshed. And soon, just like before, we will all feel the ripple effects—higher fuel prices, economic strain, food shortages. All because somewhere, someone lit the fire of confusion. God is not the author of confusion, the Bible reminds us (1 Corinthians 14:33). So who is? You guessed it—the enemy.
Two Wars: One Physical, One Spiritual
Today, you are in two wars. One is for your daily bread, and the other is for your soul. The enemy attacks both areas using the same weapon—confusion. When the economy falls, families suffer. People go hungry. Crime increases. Depression and frustration rise. When health fails—through viruses, diseases, and fear—people again are driven into panic. This is not random. This is not just life. This is a targeted attack.
Joel 1:12 says, “The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languishes… surely joy is withered away from the sons of men.” Look at that carefully. When joy disappears, everything dries up. Business fails. Relationships fail. Health fails. Hope vanishes. And that is the enemy’s end goal: to remove your peace and your joy. Because when peace and joy are gone, faith dies too.
Remember Peter? He walked on water until he looked away from Jesus and focused on the storm. That’s when he began to sink. That’s exactly what the enemy wants—distract you from Jesus so he can pull you down.
The woman with the issue of blood was healed when Jesus told her, “Go in peace.” Why peace? Because peace is part of the healing. Peace is part of your deliverance. Lose peace, and you’ll lose ground. Lose joy, and you’ll lose faith. And once faith is gone, destruction follows. It’s a calculated move.
Behind Every Distraction, There’s a Hidden Agenda
Behind every global crisis, every viral scare, every sudden economic collapse, there is an enemy at work. And he’s not just trying to ruin your day—he wants your soul. He wants to take you out of the faith. He wants to condition you to accept fear, to accept confusion, and to finally accept his ultimate agenda—a one-world government ruled by the man of sin, the Antichrist.
So, the next time you see chaos, take a step back. Look deeper. Don’t just react—discern. Ask yourself: who benefits from this confusion? Who is stealing peace? Who is killing hope? Who is destroying truth? The answer is always the same.
Conclusion
Now that you know how the enemy works, you have a choice to make. Don’t let the distraction pull you into destruction. Don’t follow fear. Don’t drown in confusion. Choose life. Choose peace. Choose Jesus. He said, “The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. But I have come that you may have life, and have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).
Hold on to your peace. Guard your joy. Protect your faith. Because when those are intact, no storm can sink you. Let your eyes stay fixed on Jesus, and no distraction will ever lead you to destruction.
Behind every distraction is a hidden plan—but with God on your side, you will not be moved.
